About Us
At MARINECONNECT you will not find pulleys, rope, shackles, ladders, bow rails, bollards, anchors, chain, turnbuckles, spray jackets or fibreglass resins. We are not experts in the applications of those products.
Our expertise lies in the electronic and electrical components and systems that you rely on in the day to day or voyage to voyage use of your vessel.
The systems that either make boating a pleasure or a nightmare.
The systems that make your time on the water safe and enjoyable.
Founders, Allen and Dianne Gray, are no strangers to the sea.
Allen spent most of the late sixties diving offshore around the Australian coastline and then found the satisfaction of dinghy sailing.
Dianne was just three when her dad first took her fishing in Botany Bay in one of his home built timber boats. The first flathead was bigger than her.
Both Allen and Dianne went on to foster junior sailing via the highly successful Skyrider training school sponsored by the Georges’ River Sailing Club on the Georges’ River and then to organise and run the Junior Classes at that club.
They own a Bertram 35 and have spent a lot of the last 12 years on board, cruising, until settling in Kogarah Bay as members of the Botany Bay Yacht Club.
They know boats.
Allen is a Radio Technician, having completed his training at the Department of Civil Aviation. He has 45 years of experience with things electronic.
He has the answers.
When you deal with MARINECONNECT, you are assured of the best service and knowledge.
“EVERYTHING WE SELL HAS BEEN TESTED ON OUR OWN BOAT FIRST”.
